Michael Nicol 
General Manager
I first met Michael McCarty in 1997. He offered me the job of Sommelier and then quickly promoted me to General Manager and Wine Director at Michael's New York. After returning home briefly to Texas in 2001, my wife Marieke and I moved to California in 2003. In early 2004, I met up again with Michael and the rest, as they say, is history. Having many of his same passions, including food, wine, and art, I aim to contribute knowledge, integrity, and passion to this award-winning restaurant and to help be part of what has made Michael's so special for almost three decades.
