Michael McCarty Launches a Blog on The Huffington Post On Friday, March 12, Michael McCarty posted his first entry in his new "Meal Periods" blog on The Huffington Post. In it, he reminisces about a casual lunch he and his wife Kim threw last July at their home surrounded by The Malibu Vineyard, at which two of the guests—director Kathryn Bigelow and journalist/screenwriter Mark Boal—talked about a small indie film they'd just completed, called "The Hurt Locker."
